The snow is flying in Western Maine and it’s time to begin our annual campaign to support and strengthen Maine Adaptive.  As a volunteer instructor for over a decade,  I have witnessed the life-changing opportunities Maine Adaptive provides on the slopes, trails and waterways of Maine.  Our mission is to promote year-round education and training for individuals with disabilities in order to develop skills, enhance independence, and provide enjoyment through active recreation.  Every dollar raised makes a real impact - whether it’s providing specialized equipment, training volunteers, or offering cost-free lessons to athletes.
